It’s been four years since the pandemic roared into our lives, yet we still experience a sense of chaos and disruption. The same two candidates are running for president. The sides are drawn, and everyone of us, no matter our politics, the “other” side seems strange and misinformed. These stories, based on thousands of photos and hundreds of hours of video I shot in the first year of the pandemic, and hundreds of thousands of words of notes I took while driving 35,000 miles around America, help explain who we are, and where we are going.
